Our System

How Our System Works
At Oteria, we work on improving early detection and raising awareness about skin cancer through the interaction of technology and skilled doctors. Here is a deeper insight into how the app works.
Working with clinics
Oteria collaborates with clinics to provide a risk assessment of your moles. The app sends the photos you take to an experienced doctor for evaluation. From there, the doctor can determine if the mole looks fine or if it requires further examination at a clinic.
Currently, we are working with Sollegene in Drammen, who are highly experienced with melanoma. The same doctors who review your photos are also ready to see you in the clinic if further checks are needed or if you wish to have your moles removed.
Modern Technology
We use modern technology to assist doctors with efficient and safe checks of your moles. A doctor will always make the final assessment, which you can see in the app.
Maximum of 10 Photos
Due to limited capacity and the fact that we provide assessments for free, we unfortunately have to limit the number of photos. After you have used up the 10 photos, we recommend booking an appointment at one of our clinics.
Safety and Precautions
Even though a doctor reviews each photo, it is always safest to have your moles checked in the clinic, where they can be examined with higher resolution and accuracy.
Your Health in Your Hands
You can always book an appointment at one of our partner clinics. Remember, early detection of melanoma plays a crucial role and can potentially save your life or that of a loved one.
